Will this work for a mulching lawn mower too? I have an in ground pool and grass in it all the time

I would think you DO want the clippings in the mulch. Mulch being mulch.

I'm a college graduate from a good school and a code certified inspector - I owned and operated my own successful bidniff for 25 years. I'm so intelligent that I know I don't know everything. Not that I'm a pro landscaper or anything and there are few areas where this applies to me (flower bed etc) but goddamn! How did this never occur to me. 🤤

Some people like the debris going in the bed to help feed the bed... in 2 days it will blend in anyways, people this picky about their yards deserve to do it themselves because its not like they are paying a premium for the extra anyways...

Grass only grows so tall, don't mow it at all just let it grow

that's why I painted directional arrows on my trimmer to know which way the off fall was being thrown - either towards or away from the operator

My trimmer has a CW and CCW setting when i swing back and forth it moves with my body... its the IDGAF brand

That only works if you are standing on the lawn. If you are standing on the sidewalk, you need to go left to right. Otherwise your mess will be on the sidewalk.
